Due to the expansion of the School we are looking to appoint the following:


Working largely term time, with paid School holidays, we have two incredible opportunities to join our friendly School team.

We have an opportunity for a Band 7 to influence and lead the strategic development of the Schools Speech and Language therapy and keep the School abreast of best practice.  In addition, this role provides the opportunity to support the School in achieving accreditation with the National Autistic Society.

We also have a speech and language therapy development post available (Band 5/6 dependant on experience).  If you are enthusiastic, creative and interested in working in the field of autism we would be delighted to hear from you!  

Both roles are varied and will involve working as part of the integrated multi-disciplinary team and being responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and, treatment of the pupils.  Interventions will be child centred and evidence-based and aim to reduce barriers to communication and learning to enable pupils to participate in daily life as successfully as possible.

School Minibus Driver

We are looking to appoint a reliable person with the patience to work with children with autism, to undertake the role of PSV Minibus Driver.  This is a part-time role working approximately 3-4 hours each day, School days only, with flexibility to work additional hours agreed in advance. 

The role will involve:

  • Transporting pupils to and from School, to various locations within the local area, in order to participate in offsite curriculum activities such as horseriding, swimming, cycling and visits to the local supermarket and cinema.
  • Maintenance and general upkeep of the minibus, ensuring it is kept clean and in good condition and reporting any additional work required immediately to the School business manager.
  • Refuel vehicle as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage.
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required. i.e. Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), First Aid at Work, Fire Marshal Training and Safeguarding Training.

Licences or certificates:

  • Driver CPC (Required)
  • PSV driving licence D1 or D (Required)

Salary Competitive.
