Head of Therapy (Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech or Language Therapist)

We have an incredible and rare opportunity for a Head of Therapy to join our friendly school team. 

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of therapy working alongside a dedicated and dynamic team of therapists in providing an integrated service to our children and young people.The Therapy Team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and a Creative Arts Leader.  In addition to the leadership role you will also have the opportunity to hold a small caseload of children. You will have experience of working with children with autism and will be dynamic and creative in your approach to management and the provision of therapy.

The successful candidate will also have a leadership role as part of the School Management Team working together on the strategic development of the school.

We would welcome applications from Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists or Speech and Language Therapists that believe they have the relevant skills.  Ideally, we are seeking a full time Head of Therapy however, for the right candidate we may consider a slight reduction in hours.

We in turn will support and encourage your continuing professional development and provide regular supervision and training opportunities.

Speech and Language Therapist

Band 5/6 equivalent depending on experience.

Due to our present therapist relocating we are looking for a highly motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team.

Working largely term time, with paid School holidays, we have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of a friendly, proactive team of Speech and Language Therapists and therapy assistants.  Whilst being supported by this team, you will carry your own caseload, will have experience of working with children with autism and will be dynamic and creative in your approach to assessment and provision of therapy.

We will support and encourage your Continuing Professional Development and regular supervision and training opportunities will be provided. Benefits include paid school holidays and a pension scheme.

School Caterer (Salary Competitive)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and friendly School Caterer to join our School Team.  You will work alongside our Catering Assistant to produce all school meals and assist with the preparation, service and clearing up of the on-site School Meals Service.

Students with autism can find School mealtimes a challenge.  The successful candidate will need to demonstrate patience and understanding and will need to work closely with the staff team during mealtimes.  Additionally, the successful candidate will need to cater for a variety of dietary needs.

The role is largely term time, working 10.00am – 2.30pm Monday to Friday plus up to five days per year during school holidays. 

Previous experience in a similar role, a Food Hygiene Certificate and working in a school/education environment would be an advantage.
